Precious Chikwendu, the former Miss World (UN) and estranged wife of Nigeria’s former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, was on Sunday disappointed as her former husband failed to grant her access to her four boys.
It would be called that Precious Chikwendu had approached the court, questioning the legality of her marriage to Femi Fani Kayode, better known as FFK and divorce if the court declares her union to FFK legal even without payment of bride price.
However, in the interim, the court had granted her access to her children during the holidays.
In the agreement reached by parties in the suit through their counsels, FFK is to produce the children at a designated park in Abuja on the 19th and 21st of December 2021, and the 1st and 9th of January 9, 2022.
But the disappointed Precious Chikwendu was at the park like other days yesterday. The former beauty queen was precisely at the park from 4 pm till 6 pm with the hope that the former minister will show up or send the children to meet with her at the designated park.
Disturbed by the development, Precious Chiwendu documented her wait in text and video broadcast for posterity for the sake of the children.
According to Precious Chikwendu, “Mama came to the park on each date (19th, 25th Dec 2021, 1st and 9th Jan 2022). She waited and spent each second fixated at the gate to see you walk through.
“Somehow she hoped that the one keeping you away from her would disappoint her by sending you to the park at least to prove a point, but hey! It’s not over till it is over.
“I am more determined to fight for you because all of these to me that your emotional stability and balance doesn’t count to that person. Nothing matters but his ego and the huge or tiny hand massaging it.
“What is best for the 4 of you is what I would do my son. Soon you would grow up enough to read and understand, so I would just post this here and leave it to your curiosity when the time comes.
“I remain unbroken and unbeaten in seeing to it that you have that warmth and love you’ve always enjoyed in my arms. Love always. Mama (Snowhite)”.
