Lekki Trade Fair: ‘Observe all COVID-19 protocols’ — LERA Chairman

Participants at the ongoing three-day Lekki Phase 1 Trade Fair were last Friday urged to observe all COVID-19 protocols for their safety and that of others.

They were particularly charged to at all times put on their masks whilst within and outside the premises and constantly sanitize their hands.

Speaking during the opening ceremony of the Trade Fair which is held at The Pavilion, Admiralty Way, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, the Chairman, Lekki Residents Association, LERAAbayomi Idowu expressed satisfaction that with the presence and continued participation of participants, the annual event would be propelled into the most popular and sought after trade exhibition statewide.

According to him, May I seize this opportunity to convey my sincere appreciation to members of the organizing committee for their selfless efforts in putting together this event. Many thanks to members of other LERA committees for their various contributions.

I especially want to thank members of the LERA Exco for reinvigorating the vision of creating an all-inclusive living environment for residents of Lekki Phase One with this bold step of the Trade Fair.

You will agree with me that this event is undoubtedly a forum for residents to socialize and interact, thereby bringing about unity and cohesion amongst all.

In stating that Lekki Phase 1 community is recognized nationwide not just as a high brow residential neighbourhood, but for its flourishing commercial activity with high-end shopping malls, fancy restaurants and buzzing nightlife.

Idowu added: It is our hope, that this Trade Fair showcases the entrepreneurship and creativity of our residents and what they have to offer.
