IPOB: Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyers in trouble, as FG accuses them of culpability

No fewer than two lawyers in the legal team of the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, have been indicted by the Federal Government of Nigeria, FGN.

Among the legal luminaries said to have been indicted are Ifeanyi Ejiofor and Maxwell Opara. They were described by the FGN as accomplices of Nnamdi Kanu.

This development was made public by a counsel representing Nnamdi Kanu who stated that the Nigerian government had claimed that the indicted lawyers were constantly in contact with the IPOB leader after he allegedly jumped bail and fled the country.
