Four arrested over attempted theft at Next Cash and Carry Supermarket

No fewer than four persons have been arrested over attempted theft at the Next Cash and Carry Supermarket located in the Jabi area of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja, Nigeria.

Making this known, the FCT Police Command revealed that the arrests were made on Sunday.

Whilst stating that the suspects are currently at the Mabushi Divisional Police Station, the Command posited that “Security agencies were deployed to manage the situation, minimize damage, extinguish the inferno and ensure the maintenance of law and order.

“Suspects who made attempts to cart away goods from the store were promptly arrested. They are Ali Audu aged 18 Years; Yahaya Yunusa aged 20 Years, and Sahabi Abubakar aged 20 Years.”

It would be recalled that the Supermarket was enveloped by an inferno on December 26, 2021.
