Alleged forgery: Former aviation minister, Fani-Kayode in EFCC custody

The Lagos office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, is currently keeping Nigeria’s former aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode in its custody.

Fani-Kayode, according to reports is being investigated for alleged forgery and manipulation of documents.

It was gathered that Fani-Kayode was brought to the Lagos Zonal Office of the anti-graft agency on Tuesday.

As of the time of filing this report, the details of the allegations against the former minister were sketchy, but the EFCC spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, confirmed Fani-Kayode’s arrest by operatives.
