By Francis IWUCHUKWU

The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele has called on Nigerians, especially Christians, to use the opportunity of the season to be reconciled to God.

In a release made available to newsmen and signed by his media aide, Tosin Osho, the man of God stressed the central position Easter holds in Christendom.

“Without the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, which we are celebrating at this time, our hope as Christians would be baseless.

“The sacrificial death of Jesus Christ and his resurrection on the third day is the central message of the gospel and the sure sign that God so loved us and wants us to be reconciled to him,” he said.

The cleric who is known for his sacrificial giving and charity to indigents in the society thereby urged Christians to show the sacrificial love of Christ to everyone pointing out that, “If we love ourselves sacrificially as God loves us the issue of insecurity and other problems, we are encountering in the society will not occur.”

Speaking on the forthcoming general elections in the country, the prophet who is well-known for accurate prophecies over the years urged Nigerians to always seek the mind of God.

“It is important for leaders and the led to seek the mind of God, when we seek the face of God and do his will, we shall always get it right,” he stated.
